PLEASE tell me you are joking. That would not work. Those bands would not fit in with a Ghostbusters movie soundtrack.

Yeah, I mean, as much as I like Dragonforce, I don't think it would work. Metal DOESN'T go with Ghostbusters, UNLESS it's only one song. I think it should be all 80's music.

The music of the Ghostbusters movies has thus far reflected the period it was released in… but it has also been fairly easy listening for a wide audience… the chances of having metal/thrash seem unlikely unless it was somehow used for chase music… if a third film were being made I'd expect stuff like U2, Nickleback, Eminem… but not specifically them.

I dunno, the new TMNT soundtrack had bands such as “cute is what we aim for” and “billy talent”, which are a little harder then most. But obviously sell to the kids. I cant see the new GB soundtrack to be much different. Safe corporate rock is what the kiddies like!
