Heh, you've got an interesting style going on that poster… kinda like John Tobias when he did the NOW Ghostbusters series.

I'm not even sure if the slimer will be in it at all.. It's set a long way in the future, so anything could happen.

Well…slimer IS dead…so he has all of eternity to be in a comic…even if it's just a cameo (sans 88mph) BTW, love the GB with the helmet, reminds me of the films original story boards.

Thats kinda the way I want to take the strip..Back to some of the original ideas.
With slimer..meeh, I know this might piss a few people off, but I kinda wanna distance myself from some of the more familier faces of the franchise. Dont get me wrong, I love slimer, and he'll probably turn up in the background somewere..But he wont be a central character.
These people dont want to be ghostbusters, they've been drafted into it. And…Well, I dont want to give the story away. But i'm going for a very real, gritty kind of army story..The core characters are going to have to deal with some pretty heavy subjects while battleing ghosts..
But dont worry, humor is a big part of what makes ghostbusters great and i'm hoping to inject some of that into the strip..

These GB's seem to be styled a lot like the Colonial Marines from Aliens, which I think would be hilarious, because they had an excellent balance of humor and severity. I think this comic will be awesome and cant wait to see it.

You can head over there now and poke around on the forums if you want. But the actual site content is still in the works and people are busily writing articles, making movies and comics and breaking their backs to get things ready for the deadline. Hopefully it'll be a good launch.
