October first this year, when www.rottingzombi.com goes live.

You can head over there now and poke around on the forums if you want. But the actual site content is still in the works and people are busily writing articles, making movies and comics and breaking their backs to get things ready for the deadline. Hopefully it'll be a good launch.

The art style certainly looks sound.

Will we be seeing the Firehouse and Ecto-1? Or is it too far into the future for them to have survived?

While you wont see the actual ecto, i'm planning on intergrating its style into other vehicals, such as tanks, choppers, ect ect.

I had a very similar idea to this at one point, for a comic, then to a fan fic, then I just gave up, lol. But really, will we see the firehouse? Or even the containment unit?

Well, in the story, new yorks gone. Just a hive of ghostly activity now. All human life was either wiped out or evacuated.It's pretty much the same story for all the big citys.

Although alot of action will take place in new york, so you never know.

I'm not giving much away of course, you'll have to read the strip to find out.
Especially for what i've got planned for the containment unit.

i think in an environment where human life is wiped out…it wouldnt really fit if there were fancy white tanks roaming the wasteland of the world haha :-)

i tihnk more of like a T2 evironment would fit more. like, run down old jeeps with gunner size nuetrana wands on top would look sooo kick ass and fit the environment.

Now just imagine them laden down with equipment, battle worn and with a scratched up white and red paint job.

Progress is going well on the project, i've got over 2 months worth of strips done already.

It's also a great learning process for me. Having never done any comics other then short joke strips and then throwing myself in to a full on web “comic” (we're talking full pages here folks) is a real kick up the proverbial backside. You'll see my art progress as the story does, and I think thats a pretty cool process to watch.

Hopefully you'll all enjoy it as much as i've been enjoying working on it.
