Well, what I find myself doing, is selecting the area I want colored and just changing the hue/saturation. Is there an easier and better way?

Hell yeah, the way your using would take ages.

I'll probably post some long winded tutorial on how I do the comics one day.

I'm loving this so far. Very cool, I like the ‘mobile ecto-containment’. I think I recall something similar in XGB, but it was like a huge junky truck tank thing. Yours looks really awesome. Nice job.
