Well after more than 25 years I finally got to watch Ghostbusters again on the big screen.
Yesterday my Optoma HD200X full 1080p projector arrived and the first film I had to test on it had to be my Ghostbusters Blu-Ray. It looked absoloutly fantastic all 100" of it, the funny thing is the grain effect that was very obvious on LCD and Plasma screens is not noticeable at all.
I just love the feeling of being able to have the Ghostbusters cinema experience every night now.

Awesome experience for you… kind of a misleading title though. The movie isn't back on the big screen… its on your home theatre, lol.

It is awesome to see it in such a large scale though.

It's a real shame that when Ghostbusters celebrated it's 25th anniversary that they did not re-release the movie at the cinema again.

I have been following the recent build up to the way Back To The Future is going to celebrate it's 25th anniversary and it looks like they have made more of an effort.

Not only are we getting new mint condition releases of the trilogy in HD, but they are re-releasing the first film at the cinema's here in the UK, not sure if it is worldwide though.
