Hey Guys, I'm a graphic art student and I put together a nice wallpaper from the images released by 88mphstudios.

Originally, I only sent this by request, thats why there are so many e-mail posts.

About the changes I made, sort of a disclaimer: 1) yes, the PKE is white now, and it has separated glows, to look like the trail of blinking lights from the movie. 2)Their uniforms have all been slightly altered in color so that they more closely match. 3)Their name tags have been highlighted a bit, so you more readily read them. 4) Egons Particle Thrower handle has been shortened to match ray's.
I'd also like to point out that Peter has a Trap, that is SOOO Real Ghostbusters.

I'll also say that the changes were made out of personal preference, before I planned on putting it on the web. It is not a dis on the creators artwork, and I couldn't care less if Egon has a PKE meter with red bars in the comic, as long as it's a good read.

I think people are misunderstanding what happened in that whole situation. It is my understanding that the problem was not with the fact that someone copied the pictures for their own use. Anymore on the internet, you can't release an image and NOT expect that to happen.

The problem is that they had marked the images with the words “case study”. This was partially a CYA on 88mph's part, as it wouldn't exactly do them a lot of good to have pictures that have not necessarily gotten final approval from Sony represented as “promotional images”. Which they could be seen as the moment they left this site. (and we all know they would)

One of the other members of this board (it really doesn't matter who, so don't bother asking), took the images, and very carefully removed the “case study” writing on them. They did a great job, and the picture looked awesome…but it was the wrong thing to do. The image was taken down, and it's no longer an issue.

If I am incorrect, I please ask that someone correct me…I'm not above being wrong. But I'm pretty sure that was the case. The problem wasn't that they were using the pictures, it was that they took pre-images and made them look “official” when they weren't, and that could have caused some problems down the line. These are offical promotional images…I say we get them on as many screens as possible!

I just got the wallpaper from him and love it. The way he put the guys together is FLAWLESS. It'd be cooler if he added some ghosts to it or something like a darker background.

Oh! And I just noticed he changed the PKE meters lights to clear and more like the movie. Mucho bettero..yep.

The more I look at the four of them together, the more I realize that this doesn't necessarily have to replace my view of them as depected in RGB. You can love ‘em both! Can’t wait for the book to come out!
