As a comic retailer I should advise you guys that the #1 way to get your retailer behind the book is to Tell Your Retailer That You Want It!!! If you keep quiet,he may get (just an example)1 or 2 preorders. He'll look at that and say “Why should I order heavy and promote this book when customer response has been poor?” If he gets ALOT of pre-orders and people talking about the book he decides the book is “hot” and that customer excitement is high and will order higher numbers and do his best to promote the book. When the book is in Previews I'll be sure to let you guys know so you can start talking to your “comic book guy”! This is the kind of book we love because it draws new people into the comic store. Sorry I'm rambling.

Chad: I guess that's alright, but rather than moving the chat, I'd say it would be wiser to still have the chat, and then have another one when you can make it, since alot of people already know about it. Then again, they'd probably come anyway just in case, so an unnofficial chat will most likely happen

I'm excited about the chat. Promotion is going to be important. I think hitting as many fan-related sites (Ghostbusters, 80's cartoon sites, webrings, etc.) is going to be key. I also hope publishers like Wizard and Previews hype it as well. Wizard has been on top of the 80's stuff, so my guess is they will touch on it. They've mentioned a possible revival twice now that I know of, plus they had a pic of the guys from RGB in a somewhat related article a few months ago. I should also mention I've updated my website.
