There is a wonderful game creation engine out there called the “RPGMaker2000.”
I would like to get around to making a game out of ghostbusters using an RPG engine. I'd like suggestions (and possible assistance) in this endeavor. Reply with your suggestions, comments, or if you'd like to help.

Start out with the basics, make simple generic ghosts, the slowly build up to powerful demons, and deities.

'Tis what I had planned, Mario. There is one thing you should know, though. The main characters are NOT the OGB. The “Fab Four” are going to be “hidden super characters” of sorts.
Thank you for your input, Mario.

though i have experience with RPG maker I find the games factory a heck of a lot easier. Games Factory is what I use on an every day basis. i am currently working on a sheet of mega man 8 styled ghost buster sprites.
i am also working on a zelda link to the past styled ghost buster game. if you want to share sprites and ideas let me know. you provide the sprites, ill provide the game.

Mangasaian, would you please email me? RPG Maker is the only game maker I know of. If you have another, that would open up new possibilities for Ghoatbuster games! Please email me as soon as you can. I would love to share notes with you.

Hey, I know some software good for platform games and simple 3d games. You can also do shooters, racing, hunting in it. Go to yahoo and search for Game Maker. The name sounds cheesy, yeah, yeah but its there. You'll know it when you find it.
