Ghostbusters: Displaced Aggression

Ok, after reading the pages, finally, I'll say I'm “liking” the story so far. Its nothing fantastic yet (but definitely not horrible, an incredible leap above The Other Side for sure), but it still seems to be suffering from pandering to the reader (something that happened before in The Other Side).

Maybe it will be explained, but how exactly does Venkman know that the others were sent to “the four corners of time”? Its things like that, I would like an explanation. Not just “here's the main story that apparently one of the characters knows but we don't know why he knows this information.”

Very excited to pick this up this afternoon. I'll be grabbing both covers, if I can.

It's probably a pretty safe conclusion to come to when you find yourself suddenly in the old west, although the ‘big bad’ may well have monologued before doing so.

Just picked up my copy of the comic, haven't had time to read it. I was able to pick up covers A, B and the virgin cover.

Virgin cover? LOL…

I've only ever heard them referred to as “Incentive Covers”, and my comic shop actually just called me to ask if I want them to hold the incentive cover for me… gotta love it!

Once you get the comic open up to the first page and it lists out all 3 covers a, b and virgin. I thought the guy at the shop was just calling it that but in reality thats what idw is calling it too.

I DID I DID, i love it, im not gonna spoil it, but OMG, 100 times better then the other side, and i think its better then leigon so far. I got 2 out of three covers, I went to Grahm Crackers right when they opened, they only had 2 copies of the B cover and the rest were the regular. I cant wait for the next one

While I don't share EctoMan57's overwhelmingly positive opinion (I don't think its anywhere near as good as Legion), the book is definitely good. I enjoyed it, though it seemed to move a little fast. It had great references, and it felt more like Ghostbusters than The Other Side. It definitely is an exciting read, and I can't wait for the next issue.

Has anyone picked up the Mystery Cover posted on Proton Charging? What's the story with that cover anyway?

I have 2/3 covers. Will attempt to complete the collection tomorrow when I head to Chicago Comics and Graham Crackers on Clark.

My guess is its not actually being printed? I don't know, but if anyone finds it I'm definitely interested!
