Scans of parts 2-5 of ”Maze of Time" are available at GBFans, for those who don't have them.

And at first guess, the book will come out in August at the earliest, assuming the information release now means it will be solicited in the June Previews.

It ain't the same ones from the last one, so I'm a little more optimistic. However, I just hope my faith in IDW's redemption won't be misplaced.

However, a female Ghostbuster isn't an entirely new concept. We had Janine part time, Kylie in EGB, I did my own female (who was also a ghost) a decade ago at my first swipe at GB3, and would've eventually brought a couple into PPE.

I've been getting the urge to write some GB again…I hope the time is afforded me…

Grife, people, you don't know how weird it is to realize I'm not the most negative one here.

There's time travel involved. I don't think it came from the article itself, but some of the comments around and about suggest that Rachel might be from the future or something, maybe sent to help the originals? That would be a lot better that shoving her into the current team.

Also makes sense cuz her uniform looks just a wee bit different than the normal ones…the lining mostly…

I was thinking her being from the future myself upon first seeing her. From what I can see of her pack (versus everyone elses) her's looks like the version you start out with in the game…you don't suppose she is supposed to be the New Recruit do ya..

I suppose this female Ghostbuster could be the rookie from the PS2/ Wii version of the video game, still I would not be opposed to having her be some one not related to the storyline of the game.

The art work looks great, loads better than what the “The Other Side” had to offer inside each issue.* The idea of each buster having to made due with what ever technology is available is pretty neat if you ask me. I can't wait to see that steam/electric powered proton pack that Peter built in action !

*I have not yet read any of that story yet. I am planing to order the TPB soon, along with the Slimer addition of the video game for the Wii.

Maybe they're pulling some characterization from the cartoon, where Peter could be very resourceful and technologically-inclined…but only when absolutely forced to be (“Devil in the Deep”) or if there was a big enough buck in the deal (“Standing Room Only”).

Chris Claremont and Frank Millers were also great writers. Then they lost it. You can give leeway based on the past, but you can't expect that to maintain.

Not casting my vote either way, but just saying it HAS happened, and CAN happen. But I hope it DOESN'T happen.
