That's a good explanation, but I can make it simpler than that. The Vitruvian Man symbol was on the clocktower when we moved in, left over from the architect who designed The Cleere Building (which was the original name of the property before it became Doom Patrol Headquarters). We saw it and have since adopted the symbol as part of our crest. The building is as much as Doom Patrol as we are.

But, the other references to magic, science, and mythology that you made are true as well.

LOL! Sorry, man. I added the bridge in because The Ben Franklin Bridge is very symbolic to Philadelphia and its mentioned quite a bit in our stories. The bridge was planned in my thumbnail sketches beforehand.

If you want, I can email you a picture of the bridge for reference if that'll help you out, the same one that I referenced in this picture.
