I'm not sure, but I think this may be the right section for this (either this one or general discussion).
Now, this isn't really as flashy and cool as all of the amazing movies, props, comics, fanfics, and other projects I've read about and seen here, but I figured I'd throw it out there to see if anyone's interested, or if it would be appropriate.
I've recently been going through some old documents and came across my final paper for my college freshman writing seminar (“Writing about Demons”). I had written this paper about Ghostbusters 1 and 2, and the class reading, which consisted of a study bible (Old and New Testaments), a series of other sources (old charms, wards, stories, descriptions, etc.), and analyses of all of these materials.
The paper's oh-so-creative title was:
“Ghostbusters and the Ghostbusting Phenomena
Or
Who you gonna watch? Ghostbusters!”
It's not particularly well written (being an Engineer, writing is not one of my strongest points), but I had a lot of fun with it. I'm not sure if anyone is particularly interested, but I could post it if there is any interest…and if I could figure out where/how to do so, and if it'd bo ok to do so (so far,I think I have the go-ahead). If anyone knows a place/way I could post this, please let me know.
Oh, and additionally, I did a slightly less-serious project for my AP-physics class my final year in high school. Here, we discussed the physics behind any gadget, or device of our choosing: I selected the Ghostbusters' proton packs and traps, and wrote a short paper as to how they theoretically worked. I have, unfortunately, not yet found this essay. Again though, if there is any interest, I will try to post it when I find it (it is likely on my old computer, back in the America, so it may be a while before I can find this one).
EDIT: I think I've cleaned up all of my other erroneous posts so it's just this one, sorry if I missed one.
