Gutted, Europeans screwed over big time. I've got both an xbox 360 and ps3 and have it pre-ordered for the 360 and the blu-ray pre orderd. Im currently packing up my PS3 and will be taking it to Game tonight and trading it in.

I cant believe how stupid sony are, it looks like this Pal version will be delayed until the Autumn, which will also see the releases of Assasins Creed 2, Batman and Modern Warefare 2(possiblily). For those who sit on the fence on wether to buy or not to buy GBTVG in Europe Sony have made their decision much easier. They've turned it into a rental game IMO.

Absolutely disgraceful what they are doing to our friends over the river.

However, as much as they probably would have liked to do this in the U.S. (keep it a Sony exclusive), it just doesn't make sense from a sales point of view. The U.S. is still in a recession. Making it a Sony exclusive would lower sales because they damn well know nobody is going to go out and buy a PS3 the way things are. Plus, they'd get way more profit from the sales of the 360 then they would from 1 or 2 spoiled brats having their mother buy them a PS3.

Its what I refer to as WWE logic, in that it makes absolution no damn sense whatsoever, just like half of the things WWE does, but its Sony's decision, unfortunately.

Of course the rest of the world is, I am not denying not but if you look at the shear number of population and people who own 360s in the USA, they look at the $$$…

Yeah the world is still in recesion, not just the US. Even in europe the 360 is the console of choice.

It looks to me like each division of Sony works pretty independently from others. This seems to be a SCEE decision rather than a worldwide Sony one from the press release in NA.

Great for you guys over in the US, not great for non PS3 owners in Europe though. I hope you don't end up getting screwed over there. As if there hasn't been enough problems and heartache with this already!

I used to live in Scotland myself until I moved to the states a while back, but I feel for all Europeans (except maybe the French ) that this is/was the biggest kick in the fruits basket I have ever seen.

Some of you miss the point about why some are getting angry and I think I need to educate in case anyone doesn't get.

Having system exclusives are fine when they are first planned out like Metal Gear Solid 4. We know this game was going to be on the PS3 and we didn't get angry about it because we knew from the beginning. Now Ghostbusters is different because they made this decision now. The final stretch of the race and Sony decides to move the finish line for some gamers. This type of move is unforgivable as it is only a month till the game comes.

The bright side is, if there is any to be seen, is that the European release for all systems is definitely going to happen. I know you are upset, but at least you still get the game eventually.

There is no justification as Kingpin said that excuses this kind of behavior from any company, not just Sony. If it was from the beginning, then yes we would have been angry, but not as angry as some are now.

Despite the arguments we have on the forums, I love my fellow ghost heads and feel bad for everyone one of you who suffers because of greed like this.

I really think this should be an update on the front page, Aunt May is driving me bonkers with her mouth open…someone please hit her in the face before me.

And I am glad that the PAL information has been cleared up.

damn i must be the only guy in the world right now who supports sony lol strictly cuz ghostbusters is theres, and they can do as they damn well please with it, if it means screwing the 360 then so be it, microsoft will no doubt do the same thing 1 day, roll on june 19th
