Doctor Venkman - your theories are the worst form of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy and your conclusions are highly questionable.
Seriously though, people are just angry on here for Sony delaying the non-PlayStation versions of the game. You are right, though, that it is just business Sony doing what they did with Blu-Ray, and you can't really blame them. However the point is I don't have to buy the format just because it “won”. If you look at my first post on here again I said I won't be buying Ghostbusters on Blu-Ray because of what they're doing with the Ghostbusters game - I was considering buying a Blu-Ray player before today.
You can do so much in business to get ahead - but if you go to far, you anger your consumers and it's all over. Then they'll even hate you again for things they've forgiven you for in the past.
I think you missed my point. I said several times, I do not agree with them delaying the game. It makes sense from an exclusive standpoint, absolutely. But this late in the game, its wrong.
My main points were disputing the moronic reasons people give for avoiding Sony technology. And I still don't get what you're saying. No one forced you to buy a Blu-Ray player. If you own a PS3 then yes, you have one, but you're not required to use it. If you don't own one, you don't have to buy the high def movies. Its that simple. If you want high def movies, then yes, you have to buy a Blu-Ray player. Deal with it. They won the war. Just like if a console won out over another, we would all have to buy that.
