I thought they did as well since they (unfortunately) hold the Ghostbuster property. I still think its a case of them wanting to push more PS3's in that region.

They do, but the logic here is as with all exclusives, timed or otherwise.

The could make royalties on a bunch of other systems' game sales. Or they could make those royalties PLUS there's a greater possibility that people won't want to wait for some unknown future date to play a game that MIGHT come out on a competetor console.

So the exclusives slightly raise the percentages of consoles sold. Although frankly, I don't see Ghostbusters having the kind of gamer following that Killzone and MGS command. I can't get anyone who comes into my store to care about it, sadly.

NO way its a joke look how bad it's edited to Piss of the Xbots. This move by Sony really made me laugh. Well I have all three consoles but I wanted to buy the game for the 360 cuz my brother only had a 360 so we can play together but that party is over and now I have to buy it for PS3 not to piss of the best people that have a 360 ( not mocking or bragging anyone ). But I really genuine admit I feel sorry for the people who own the 360 it was a real “dickless” move on my part.
