Well kotaku says that officially it is just he PAL format which should just mean europe. I haven't seen any changes on preorder sites. So maybe the US will be safe. Man I hope so. This is a pretty big Twinkie.

Right, I'm absolutely furious. There's nothing I can do or say to change it, I guess, but it wouldn't be the first time a port delay became a cancellation. If you could hear the queen's english being bestowed on Sony in my neck of the woods right now, you'd think the f word was a christmas present.

Seriously though, this is no time for ANY console war talk to crop up -i'd be gutted for PS3 owners if the reverse had happened. We are a Ghostbusters community, not a hideout for a particular console, and 50% of us have just been left out in the breeze with no firm dates at all. To those without even a PS2… man, I'm sorry the world is the way it is guys.

Thanks so much Sony, I have to hand it to you, I may have to forego a months food to get a PS3 now - the finishing line was so close and I don't know that I'd be able to close my eyes to interim spoilers. You utter, utter jobsworth scumbags.

After calming down since this morning, I think I can wait a few more months for the 360 edition, but I don't think I can contain myself from playing some sort of version between now and whenever that is.


I'm also gutted about how Terminal Reality and Atari are being treated in this.

Sony didn't want a thing to do with it other than stamp the licence forms and collect all the money, and now where it looks like it'll be good they suddenly, greedily change their minds and want in. I can't imagine how frustrating Skanker and his colleagues must be about having a chunk of their work pushed back.

It's probably why we haven't seen him around yet.

As a ghosthead, I feel sorry for all of you and I really hope that crap won't reach NA but on a gamer-note, I'm pleased they do that and moreover, I'm quite surprised that the game isn't PS3/PS2 only (after all, Sony's pleased to do whatever they want with the franchise).

How many times were the PS3 owners getting screwed with Microsoft exclusivities?
Alone in the Dark, Tomb Raider, GTA, Fallout…

The 11th move is f***ing lame, but I'm sure Sony will pop up with a GB PS3/Bluray pack. Well, they'd better do anyway.

Its apparent that the publishers hate Atari and Terminal Reality, despite owning the IP, I mean seriously, it sucks, and no offense, but I hope that doesn't happen here in the States as in July, I'm flying to Florida, and honestly, I'd like to play the game quite a bit before that happens….just in case.

yea, im little more calm too, and am surprised he's not around trying to calm others down as well. was so angry when i first read it, and thought it was for all regions. it still sucks its for any region, but im glad its not mine. i wonder if they (TR, Atari) showed the big bosses at SOny some more footage that changed their minds bout the title for them to jump on the bandwagon now.:-O

Don't forget Red Fly as well. The Wii version has been affected. The guy's at both studios will be mightily pissed.

Still though, as of yet, the US, Japan and Austrailian 360/Wii/DS versions will still be released. So they aren't losing out everywhere. As I say though, yet…
