Ok, But how do you explain the library looking the same..the hotel looking the same….All the same locations..I think they got lazy with the story, just wanted to put in some stuff from the first movie in to a new story and get away with it.
Because, major buildings don't usually change substantially. I bet you that the principal areas of the New York Public Library that we saw in the film are 90% or more unchanged since we first saw them in 1984. Just what sort of major changes would you expect?
The Biltmore (Sedgewick Hotel) has had the more significant change, as the famous ballroom is now the Reception (which ironically, they've modelled into the Sedgewick level as well).
Why should these locations change substantially?
And it's not all the locations, Dana's apartment and the Museum of Art aren't making a return.
