So, what look do you like batter for the Ghostbusters game, the Realistic look (PS3/Xbox360/PC), or the Animated look (Wii/PS2/DS)?

That a really hard choice. Both have there own charms to it. It's like having to choose between two favorite foods.

I am fascinated with the wii art style

I'm more used to the cartoony look, since I got the Wii version and only played that. But it just doesn't sit well with me on certain things. I mean, the Cartoony look remindes me of RGB and is alot more child-friendly, in my opinion. So I could see myself buying it for my kids and letting them play it.

But I'm trying my best to get the PC version. It's a pain playing the Wii version and I can't stand looking at how funkyfied everybody looks. Slimer, even! He looks like Egon & Ray shot him up with various drugs just to see what effect they'll have on him! It's horrible!

So yeah, I'm going with Realistic since this is a Ghostbusters game based on the films rather than an actual RGB one.

I'm also going with Realistic. I only have the PS2 version, but if I had an Xbox 360 or PS3 I would've bought one of those.

Feels more like the next movie that way.

Guaranteed next month, when I get an XB360, I'll be upgrading.

I only played the Wii version. The style doesn't bother me, and it's almost like a new animated movie. I like the realistic look though, even if I haven't played it, the screen shots look amazing! So, I'd say realistic look.

Like I have said before. I am fascinated by what has been dubbed Ghostbusters: Animated art style. I honestly would not mind seeing a new animated series with that art style if they could gather the remaining RGB cast members back and had stories that were a mix of stuff that might happen in the movie and things from the couple of seasons of RGB

Honestly, I can't vote. Each brings something different to the approach, so in a lot of ways, not really comparable.

I like both, honestly. But I do appreciate the pure level of detail in the “realistic” version.

Well, I voted for the realistic look cuz, the question asks specifically about the preferred LOOK not anything else about these versions. Otherwise, it might be a harder decision with the Wii's motion controls and what not.

I voted Animated, I am completely enamored by the art style of this version (save for the design of slimer)

I like the realistic a lot, but watching footage of the Wii version, I noticed something.

A lot of times in the realistic version, you only hear the dialogue of characters who aren't there over the radio. On the Wii, it actually cuts to them, like you'll SEE Venkman sitting in the stairwell drinking coffee when he's talking about how the marshmallow dogs have him pinned down, or after the Stay Puft fight, when Ray tells the guys in Ecto-1 he's the puddle they're driving through, you actually see from the perspective of inside the Ectomobile instead of yourself on the rooftop.
