you may have already figured this one out, but the new ghostbusters game on Ps3 althow awesome does have the glitch where you cant reload where you last left off, I have figured this out thow,

If you plug in your mp3 player or usb card in the usb slot and copy the ghostbusters save data onto it, it continues the game from your last point with all your scans trophies enhancements intact etc the mp3 player acts like a memory card this allowed me to complete the game and i was getting very frustrated

Why're you using a MP3 player/USB card to save the game, rather than your PS3's built in memory?

Because as i said the uk version of the game has a glitch witch means you cant reload your save data say you get as far as the library and save and then quit and turn off your ps3 next time you load the game to play you cant continue the career it starts again fresh

so hence the mp3 player acting like a memory card

Well I'm in the UK and never had this “save glitch”….. That is until I downloaded the patch the other day. I think it was the patch to improve the graphics rendering on the PS3? If it was what the update was for it made no noticable difference, I thought the burn marks from the proton stream were meant to glow and have embers like the 360 version? Anyway…. Since doing the update I've lost all of saved data, artifacts etc. Pretty dissapointed and don't really want to play through the game again, I liked to just continue my career and do random missions for some pick up and play time.

Ok so mayb it isnt the uk version of the game but i went and googled it after buying the game because i was frustrated with it
and it seems others have the same problem
all im saying is iv solved the problem for me and gave it as a tip for anyone
experiencing what i had with the game thats all!

No no I understand and I appreciate it, you are right, there is a UK save glitch, or a general save glitch for sure just, as I say, I personally did not have the save glitch until I downloaded the patch. Now it seems I have it also.

I will be sure to give your tip a try in the future and see if it helps, although i'm in no rush to try and play through the game again. I may even purchase a save file from ebay or something just to restore my lost data.

i have a different savegame glitsh/bug!
lets just say i want to replay an earlyer level!
the game dont know what ghosts/artifact i have allready scanned! i can collect it or scann it like for the first time, but everything is still in the pke!!!!!!!
same for the upgrades!
sometimes a wild mix of what is possible to reach at this point in the game!
but i know, the first time i played it i did not upgrade this or that!
strange!
