Ghostbusters' Games forum?

Hi,

Not sure if this is easy to do or not, but there's a lot of topics out there with people asking about ghostbusters' games.

So how about a Ghostbusters Games forum where we can discuss:
1) The old school games? The best ones, the hardest boss, how to defeat that boss, etc. etc.

2) Plus there are almost as many fan-made Ghostbusters games made, and currently in production, where we can talk about them, give inputs into released demos. Maybe keeping all the finished games in a sticky topic so is easily accessible to Ghostheads.

3) Plus we can finally put all those “Ghostbusters DooM” topics into the one sticky topic to keep the newcomers happy!

Whaddya think?

1) I'm not sure where this could be discussed, even GBHQ doesn't have a seperate forum for games, so it's a bit of a hazy subject.

2) Fan made games seemd to get enough discussion in the existing Fan Projects forum, so that isn't enough of a reason for it's own forum.

3) I'm not even sure if you can still download GB DooM.

Hiya Kingpin. I thought it would just be more organised, instead of going through pages of fan projects looking for a good ol' GB game, we'd know where to look.

1) Not too sure why it's a hazy subject, and what does it have to do with GBHQ? We could run a poll to see what others think, but hey, no skin off my nose, it's just a suggestion.

2) But I'm saying is just have all the game topics in the one place, leave fan projects for videos, songs, costumers, props… etc. I know they get discussed enough. Maybe fan made games get discussed in that forum, because there is no games forum? :p

3) Links still work for GB Doom.

There is no rudeness intended, just discussing with you.

You don't have to go through pages, all you have to do is a quick simple search for Ghostbusters Games and you will find everything we have on it. Besides I'd rather see the prop forum make a return before creating a video game forum.

You could just do a search for props as well :p
Just messing, but yeah, just saw like 4 topics about GB Doom within 4 days of each other got me thinking. You wouldn't get that about the same gb prop.
But yeah, no worries everyone, don't get worked up, just my 2¢.

Shit I didn't notice you replied :p . And not to rekindle this but…. yes I could do a search for props too, but take a look right now. There are 8 posts about props, which means your right about not getting the same about props as you do the games, you get more with props. Especially within the upcoming weeks as halloween aproaches.

Yes now there are 8 most are new within the last week, but on that same page, 11 topics about GB games!
True props are the thing now as halloween approaches, but give it time and more of those games that are in the works will be finished off and be posted and talked about. Seems to be a cycle of the two really. But hey, I think they are as popular as each other, give 'em a forum each! :p

GBDOOM is still available somewhere.. give me some time and I can find it.

In my opinion, a game forum would be great. But so would a prop forum, and an RGB forum. Also, a GB roleplaying forum, like the old site had would be pretty cool too. But there's not really enough topics on each of these sections to constitute entire forums for them.

And while on that topic, I'd even go as far to say that I'd rather put the GB3 forum into the General forum - basically because everything that can be discussed has pretty much been discussed, and, well, it's pretty much just flogging a dead horse.

But I'm glad someone else out there is still interested in the old GB games.

I never said it was unavailable, just four topics referring to it in the space of four days seemed a bit of an overkill. One sticky topic about GB Doom at the top of a Games forum would be nice.

But yeah, 'twas merely just a suggestion.
