Well, I don't know there's one fan movie that had the permission of the studio to make one.

Damn, many questions. I guess it's time for an UPDATE:

-Aside from music, end credits, and effects, the film is completely edited clocking in at 94 minutes.

-A TV spot was released back in December but I took it down after deciding it wasn't a good idea to re;lease it before the final trailer.

-All preview reviews on the final cut (from test viewers) have been positive and reassuring so this is very motivating for us.

-The CGI is being done at a satisfying rate takes to some new hands on board. This means we can have the trailer out sooner than anticipated.

-The release of the film seems very likely for March-May along with the premiere in NYC. The DVD will be available one month later.

-Donations are open for the film via Paypal. Depending on the amount donated you can can be credt donator, associtae producer, executive producer and even get a reserved seat for the premiere.

-We are welcoming more helping hands for effects and such so if you or anyone you know have the stills, help us!

I'm not worried about Sony. We're planning a large promotional tactic for the film but we know how to keep clear of the ass bandits known as Sony Pictures so no need to worry.

When is the cut off for donations? I want to do 30. So will the dvd have that packaging? DVD-R or something? Thanks.

EDIT: I didn't want to double post, but I am so stoked over all of this. I got the returns trailer, watch it over and over, and I am like “who needs bill murray?” heh :-) I download stuff at work, but .wmv, .mov, etc are blocked (don't blame them). I am system administrator and we block that cause some try to and succeed in downloading porn. *sigh* The Return of The Ghostbusters was in a zip file and I got it. Can I get the Generations Teaser zipped up? (no youtube is blocked to). There was alot of talk in her a few days ago, quiet now. Hmm…
