I actually had to take down 3 images since Braxtan made a good point that they may be a bit too spoilerish.

You know, I followed the thread, looked at your stills, and I held off commenting. I mean, sure, great angles and lighting, sure you got the props. But, these can be reproduced…
Then I saw your still with the beam effects.
*bows to you* We're not worthy! We're not worthy!
Seriously, those are frigg'n sweet. And, really, those beams and the ghosts make up 50% of hit or miss with Ghostbuster fanfilms. and you've not only hit a home run, you won the world cup with those and now, I have total and complete faith in this fan film and can't wait!!

The final beams will actually be even better since i'm adding more layers and making the lighting light blue (similiar to the lighting in “Ghostbusters II”).

I have to take my hat off to what I have seen so far, that was quite impressive.
As a mjor GB fan I have to say that looks like the best fan film I have seen so far.

I think this looks like possibly the most impressive Ghostbusters fan-film ever. From the lighting, to the actors (a number of whom actually look very professional) these shots have got me seriously anticipating the release! I hope you guys make the intro, credits, FX etc as worthwhile as the actual shooting itself.
I'm actually most intrigued by the potential soundtrack and/or score - i'm seriously hoping it's original material. It'd be a shame to see such a visually-stunning production let-down by yet another soundtrack which is just a complete re-run of the original “Ghostbusters” score. If I hear ANY Elmer Bernstein in this, I think i'll have a complete mental breakdown :-(
Anyhoo, this certainly brushes aside everyone else's 5-minute Windows Movie Maker projects! Is there an expected date of arrival? (^_^)

To answer your question, the film will have a completely new and original score. Part of the score will be inspired by the use of strings in the “Ghostbusters 2” score but the composer will have free range and him and I will be palying around with the possiblities. Here is his website!:

The film will also have a newly designed intro so that should be something fresh.
The release date will hopefully be November 9, 2006 but that's only if the complete cut is completed by mid-September so the composer has time to work on the film.

This looks SPOOKTACULAR! You're obviously putting a LOT of work into this project. Is there an estimated running time for the final cut??
