I was looking into the titan books, The real ghostbusters this ghost is toast. I found on amazon and target.com that the release is slated for oct 2, 2007. Why is that, wasnt this released a while back?

Yes as far as I know, it was already released. When it was (protoncharging.com) posted a picture and spoke of it. I immediately went to Amazon to see if they had it listed and they didn't. I don't know why. I do see its listed now for pre-order. Why October when it was already out? I'm not entirely sure. Maybe it has something to do with the publisher. Maybe more copies need to be printed.

I guess a call or email to Amazon couldn't hurt if you or someone else wants to do that. I don't own the other “volumes” yet, its not a big to deal to wait until later in the year. We know I've been waiting nearly 2 years for another GB comic. :p

Yeah, at the moment I found slight humor in the situation.

A new re-release maybe? With concept art and a foreword?…

Those comics were produced weekly - they barely had time to put them together, let alone concept sketches.

The delay is simple enough - all three books have had a gap in dates between appearing in specialty shops (whose distributors got them direct from the UK in small amounts) and those distributed in general to national chains, online retailers, etc. (who require much larger volumes be produced, hence the wait.)

Anybody that wants to read up on the books can go here.

Fortnightly as well as weekly, I recall. There's some original paper and ink pages floating around every few years, but I don't believe there'd be a forward or concept art.

As comic series go, Marvel's ranked about the lowest (admittedly, that's only the Marvel series, NOW Comics and 88MPH)… the Now series was much better.

Marvel the company or Marvel the comic?

Marvel UK, which is a seperate entity (though related) to the US Marvel - they published the UK RGB stories that Titan is compiling.

If anyone wants to know more about the UK comics, head on over to the NYGB Comicguide at http://hometown.aol.com/nygbcomic/home.html

It's updated every 2 weeks with 2 new issues from the UK series. We've got almost half the run up now.
