IÂm just letting you all know that the GTA Ghostbusters mod is still in the making. Nobody has given up and stopped working on it. I know you are all probably starting to have doubts that it will ever be finished but it should. Just takes so long thatÂs all.

We know it will get done, every one knows good things come to those who wait so take your time. We thank you for take time to do this and if anyone complains about someone working so hard for free then they should be shoved in a containment unit and haunted by cramped pissed off ghost for the rest of his living days then his after life. (*rant)

Hey guys,
I hate bouncing on your thread like this but I just watched the first Ghostbusters movie, got an idea to start or piece together a mod and googled first.
I'm a talented modeller and have a background modding Quake based games and would be more than happy to help if you guys have anything in mind. I'm not overly familar with GTA's engine, but I'm sure I can work out something.
I also do textures galore, so if you have anything in mind, as I said, I'd be more than happy to help. I was giving some thought to actually creating some ghosts and such. Would it be possible to script in jobs, replacing remote airplanes with ghosts?

The other people working on the mod never seem to come on this site so IÂll let them know about you.
As far as I know everyone working on the mod is all set, though having a person who can help out is always a plus.

I finally finished the loading screen part of the mod. I just need to compress all the screens into a zip file and you all will be able to download them and test them out.

Just thought I'd chime in here with a post…
I like the idea of a full-blown Ghostbusters GTA mod as I'm a big fan of both series. Although I own all five 3-D GTA games for the PS2, I just recently bought the 3-D trilogy for the PC so that I could have fun with mods (I hope GTA4 comes out for the PC eventually).
I just created a page for GTA PC mods over at Spook Central:

Right now I just started it off with the known Ghostbusters mods and a few necessities, but when I eventually get done testing out mods, I'll fill it up with a lot more.
So, if you guys ever finish this Ghostbusters mod, please shoot me an e-mail so that I can add it to the page - and play around with it myself :-)

ThatÂs really cool that you made a GTA section on Spook Central.
You probably already know but that Ghostbusters Mod Pack for GTA Vice city was made by me. But yes IÂll definitely send you an email if this project gets finished.
