If Ghostbusters III was to be made what characters would you like to see as Ghostbusters?

It wouldn't be the same without the originals, but maybe give a new team of ghostbusters the main spotlight.

Good question.

And new team members is a must if they want to perpetuate the franchise. The four guys won't cut it in a live action film at this age…

It depends what you mean when they you say “wont cut it”. I presume you mean that it may be too physically demanding for them. The way I see it is, lets say they they had to do the original Ghostbusters or its sequel right now all over again. I don't think that they would have much problem with those two movies physically so why not a third?

To be honest, I think that personally I would like to see one more movie be made. A third and final Ghostbusters turning the francise into a trilogy. Lets be realistic, how many Ghostbusters movies would we want? 4? 5? 6?. They're bound to get progressively worse. I'd love a third and final one though but only if it was very enjoyable.

No way! None have the comedic talent nor the acting ability.

The only person I can think of at the moment is Jack Black and even he's too in your face.

I think that they should cast unknowns for Ghostbusters III. As long as they can act well and deliver funny lines I think it would work well. Casting recognisable actors for the film would decrease the beleivablility of the movie.

Couldn't agree with you more Matthew! Especially well known ones, I wouldn't mind some big-screen debuts of younger actors from some of the new tv shows out there that show promising talent. I just can't see any well-known actors donning the uniforms.

Hey now, come on, Bruce would be able to pull off being a ghostbuster, he kinda did that already in Evil Dead, its only fair that they just give Ash some better equipment… Holy crap, I'm writing that story! DIBS! (runs off)

Who do you consider “recognizable”? Because in their day, Dan and Bill were QUITE the recognizable actors & Bill still is huge.
