it hurts everybody on here that our hero's since childhood have to go away, like apollo creed said to rocky balboa ‘ its a shame we have to get old aint it’
yes it is, cuz it means one day we have to pass the torch, and for the ghostbusters that time cud be coming, so for the third movie, it MUST be originals PLUS new team, so they can get handed the torch, but from then on, i only see special appearences cuz the originals are gunna get too old, so it will be entirely the new team, unless we will settle for 1 more film, then i will be happy with an originals only film, and for me, thats how it shud be, 1 more film, then make new films, games

(hmmmm on another note, nomore GB is very heartbreaking)

I see it similar to the Star Trek franchise, you had Kirk in The Original Series, but then you had Picard in The Next Generation and so on. Each series has it's own fans and some people like myself like all the different series.

The new guys might end up doing 3 films as well over the next decade, you could also have a TV series as well, similar to Supernatural, but with a lot more comedy inserted.

Yeah, I think it needs new guys along with the originals. If they cast them right, it can definetly bring new life to the franchise, and draw in a new generation of ghostheads.

I don't know about you guys…but Danny McBride would be god damn hilarious as a Ghostbuster.

Step Brothers is one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. I think I might have laughed once. The rest of it was just like “um… what's supposed to be funny about 2 40 year old's who act like they're 10?”

That said, I've liked John C. Reilly in some other stuff, but I dunno… I don't think he fits this style of humor. Its too subtle for him. Most of his comedy is the “HEY! HERE'S THE JOKE! HERE'S THE PUNCHLINE! YA GET IT?!”

If we are doing 4 new guys…

Danny McBride
Seth Rogen
Bill Hader
Jay Baruchel (nerdy guy from Tropic Thunder, perfect Egon understudy)

And where's the positive discrimination?

How about Dave Chappelle or Eddie Griffin, I thought they were both very funny in Undercover Brother.
