As much as I want to see another Ghostbusters movie I almost done. If it's going to be made I'd like it to be more like the first movie and nothing like the second. When I was 9 I thought GB2 was one of the best movies out there but watching it today I don't understand why I thought that.

A new team does sound interesting and I highly doubt I could see a balding Peter Venkman and heavy set Egon Spengler running around with proton packs. The idea of female Ghostbusters doesn't sit well with me. I'm sorry but I cannot see female members fitting well into the concept. If I were to think of the most bad-ass actress I still couldn't take a girl-GB seriously. It's hard to imagine anyone taking the place of the fab-4 but if they are goin to form a new team the next group better be some awesome actors.

Slimer 388 I could not agree with you more, i am quite worried about GB3 hearing this news. Waited so long to see my childhood heroes, and when they finally make another film, they are not the main characters… (;_ I wish they make only GB3, no sequels and only the original 4.

The original cast and story just fitted together, how are we going to get this with a squad full of GB's? I can see ghostbusters being turned into an action/adolescent drama rather than comedy…

I would rather watch the originals slowly plod around with Proton packs than see a new squad using the neuron splitter and inter planet interceptor

GHOSTBUSTERS III must star the originals. Have them reference/ poke a little fun at the age factor with a joke or two and move on with the story.

Why on earth are so many people put off by the fact that the original actors are now 20 years older and a few pounds heavier??? GHOSTBUSTERS IS A COMEDY!!! A COMEDY FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!! Not a drama. Not an action movie. It's not meant to be taken seriously. It does not require youth. It does not require good looks. It does not require muscle.

It requires Bill Murray, Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson and it does not require anyone else. Are they afraid that people are going to laugh or something?

When I say it does not require anyone else what I mean is Ghostbusting-wise.

I'd also love to see Annie Potts back although I think that including Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis again may cause the movie to suffer from being too similar to the previous two films, rather like Ghostbusters II was to the original film. I've always thought that one of the biggest mistakes they made with Ghostbusters II was bringing those two characters back.

Perhaps Rick Moranis could be in the film. Maybe as the Ghostbusters accountant. There would have to be a point to including him in the story and not just for the sake of bringing back Louis Tully.
