ghostbusters laser disk

I saw the GB2 laser disk at a second hand store, but i dont have a laser disk player to play it in…does anybody think i shouldve boughten it, or just left it there like i did

i'm not 100% sure, but i think the only gb2 laser disc released was full screen with no extras.

well then where exactly are all of the GB2 delted sceens located on? If there not on the DVD and not on the laser disk, how have people seen them and how come ive seen pictures of them on websites (like the one of slimer eating chicken wings)

the one you mentioned is in several magazines. a lot of people know of the scenes that were filmed, but deleted from reading the shooting script, novels written before the final cut of the film, NOW comic adaptation, and behind the scenes magazines. there is also a bootleg dvd with several of the hard to find deleted scenes and also a few extended scenes. i'm thinking about selling VHS copies of the bootleg if anyone is interested.

m,y girlfriend bought me the GB2 chirldrends book based on the movie with loads of pictures, and some of the pictures and things that happen in the book are not in the movie, like there is a picture of Louis with a proton pack, and there are parts in the book where Louis is hunting Slimer, a tguy gets pulled into the slmie wall, and Ray goes nuts in a car, but after searching all over the net i know realize that thiose are all delted scenes

several, louis nearly taking out janine while firing at slimer, the guys putting their packs on outside the slime covered museum, the guys outside the museum after ray got posessed, some alternate dialogue, extended dialogue from janine, a scene with ray and peter talking to some firemen outside the slime shell, footage of the ecto1a showing different messages scrolling across the lightboards, and some others i can't remember. there's also the run dmc video, ray parker jr. video, and bobby brown video on the dvd. behind the scenes featurette from the original movie that isn't on the official dvd, interviews from gb2, saturday night live skits, etc.
