It would be weird hearing Dave do Lorenzo's voice. Dave I always thought was a bit stiff in delivery. Lorenzo however sounds a lot more natural. I don't know if it's because he's just speaking in his regular voice or if it's because he just kicked ass, plain and simple.
Anyone else think Peter should have continued to fight with Slimer as the series continued?
I never saw Extreme GHostbusters until I found this thread so thank you for allowing me to see it. That cartoon is great.

Probably both. Lorenzo just basically did Lorenzo. Dave was trying to be Bill Murray. And the fact that Dave's arrival coincided with JMS quitting and the inevitable decline in script quality that resulted, did not help his case.

Definitely. I've never seen it said by anyone connected to the show in so many words, but that was probably some network advosor concerned that “Venkman being mean to Slimer does not present him as a positive roll model blah blah blah” just like “we can't let Janine have pointy glasses and a backbone”.

All I can say on that is phoey. If you ask me, I thought that the whole connection between Slimer and Peter was well developed. And I thought Peter was alright the way he was. It's just a shame they had to tone down his character just because parents thought he was a poor rolemodel. That is what makes Peter, well Peter.
And I'd say let Janine have her pointy glasses. It's a crying shame that Janine had to be soften because her eye wear frightens children. *shakes head* As a kid, I was never afraid of Janine's pointy glasses and I thought she was cool. I even mistook her for a lady Ghostbuster at some point.
But hey, I was around eight years old. *shrugs*

did anybody ever figure out how much is missing from the halloween door episode? I know we are missing the boogaloo is back in town song but what else isnt there?

From my recollection that's the only bit of the episode notably missing… I believe one version of the episode also lacked Boogaloo snapping that clock off of that clocktower and I think it was the version missing the song, but I'm not certain.

Hi everyone. I would just like to thank Maskedshuyuu for uploading all this wonderful stuff. Because of you I now have all 7 seasons 140 episodes of teh RGB. Dwonloading and burning onto DVDs then watching each dvd was fun. Im sure my gf is tired of watching them though. I think I may download the slimer episodes as well. Will you be uploading all those as well? Anyways thnks for the memories. It felt good to relive something from my childhood.
