why? i want some! it would not be that hard even if they were hot garbage and sucked a monkey, sucking total weak sauce through a straw, through a straw i would want some. and this comes a challenge to all you fan film freaks 1,000,000 brownie points to the person or group of persons who can make the best EGB fan film.

Seriously though, I guess nobody has ever been interested in doing a XGB fanfilm. Heck, most of the fanfilms these days are of non-New York based franchises instead of being based around the original Ghostbusters.
If you want a XGB fanfilm, you're gonna have to make it yourself. Brownie points aren't gonna encourage anyone.

i don't know the first thing about making a movie, but i didn't know the first thing about making parts, and now i machine like the pros so why not. i know some people, i'm a college student for god's sakes i bet i can find some suc…er some dedicated film student with enough mone…eh…will to make this a reality. ( or i might just play shaq-fu for the snes)

Filming is the easy part. Editing is can be the pain. The special effects? You don't wanna know…
But there have been no fan films that are based around the original Ghostbusters. I think there was one person who tried, but the people he casted…well let's just say that it didn't look like they knew the characters too well.
I don't even think it was actually finished. But again, as most people didn't like EGB, I doubt they're gonna try and do one. The last thing we need though is a Slimer! fan film. :p
