Anybody see these in the Tri state area( NY,NJ,CT). I checked my TRU yesterday, and nada. My preorders still say backordered, so I am beginning to think that they are not coming, time for plan 2, to get it at the store.(*ray)

your wrong, preorders will still ship through out the month of september. They will keep getting shipments just like the stores. It would seem impossible to fill every preorder on the first shipment to them

Toys R Us does seem a bit confusing anyway… I mean my Louis/Slimer set said cancelled and then it shipped anyway.

I wouldn't worry. They'll all ship, and then you'll end up with lots of extras and have spent a lot of money.

Apparently there's something with their website and PayPal where you need to click a link to go back to their site for the order to fully send. So they had me do this and I got my order in no problem.

Perhaps that's what happened in your case Dreamstalker.

Now that I think of it, you may be right. It wasn't obvious on the “payment sent” page that I had to do that. Guess I'm too used to other sites that have their internal ordering system linked to PP automatically.

Strange way to do it (and now I feel like an idiot for opening the dispute in the first place) but now I know.

Yea, I mean they answer their phones all the time, just a simple phone call, no big deal. You should really only open a PayPal dispute once you can't get in contact with them or something.

Anyone notice the jogger ghost has the same hair as venkman but only white. You could swap the hair on the figs to make peter look more like he does today.

Wouldn't mind seeing the rookie from GBTVG.

Also my local TRU was stocked full of series 2 minimates today. I was a little shocked considering what a PITA it was to find the first series and how the preorders are being pretty well botched. I went ahead and bought them since I don't know what's going on with my TRU.com preorder. If I end up with two sets, eh, I'll sell one on eBay.

The Rookie would be kinda cool… though he's down a bit on my list. I'd prefer to see things like:

- Courtroom Ray and Scoleri Brother
- Courtroom Egon and Scoleri Brother
- Janine (either GB1 or GB2) and a desk perhaps? or maybe a small containment unit?
- Janosz and Vigo

After that we might start to get into some fairly out there type variants of the guys… I'm not too sure how many more of them I'd like to see. Maybe some other slimed versions, or other Gooey ones to be able to recreate the ending scene where they're all covered. I dunno, just an idea.

There is a pretty funny (yet seemingly out of place) Ecto-Cooler reference on the back of the Louis/Slimer 2 pack. Maybe its pointing out that this is the cartoonier GBII era Slimer? I seem to remember Ecto-Cooler being released around the time of GBII.
