So my set arrived last week in a bubble mailer, and lo and behold, the Vigo set was crushed! The figures were ok, but if I were the type that likes them misb, I would have been pissed. I called TRU.com ,and they gave me 10% off the set which translates to a whopping .70 cents!! Woo hoo! I can't even exchenge it bec. they are sold out.:-(

Woo Hoo! My local TRU really came through today. They got in 1 box of wave 3 and put the entire box on hold for me. I went up over lunch and got to go through it to pick out the ones I wanted. I got 2 complete sets. Then, they had a 15% discount flyer I didn't even know about and let me use it.

I don't know if all boxes are the same but the numbers in this box were:
2 - Egon and Scolari
2 - Ray and Scolari
4 - Peter and Vigo
4 - Egon and Titanic Ghost

So I wonder if the Scolari packs were planned to be more limited, because that's what it seemed like y'all mentioning with the online orders as well.

I bit the bullet and got a courtroom set off ebay; all told it wasn't too much over the TRU online price. Off to my closest TRU this afternoon; maybe I can convince someone there to call me when they come in (there's at least one employee there who knows that all I buy is the GB mates).

I looked back through a couple of pages and didn't see this mentioned. Did anyone else notice they have 3 different names (spellings) for the Judge in GBII used in the little paragraphs on the back of the boxes?

Egon/Scolari Pack:
Egon's blurb -Judge Wezler
Tony's blurb - Judge Waxler

Ray/Scolari Pack
Ray's blurb - Judge Wexler
Nunzio's blurb - Judge Waxler

Not that it's a big deal, I just though it was funny that it was spelled several different ways. I think “Wexler” is right, but it's been a while since I've seen the movie.

btw - took 1 set of the figures out today. LOVE THEM!

Yeah, I noticed that too. Kind of an odd error to make twice. Oh well.

I finally found them all yesterday (they must have just put a full case out that morning).

I eBayed the new series, and then found a complete set at my local TRU.

I had horrible luck with the TRU website. I pre-ordered the last set weeks in advance, and supposedly, they all “Sold out”, and I didn't get any of my order completed.

The new figures are out, yet the site only has one pairing.

I'm just glad I found the new ones so I'm fully caught up to present.

I'm really surprised that no one has asked for a Statue of Liberty mini-fig yet. Surely, it's not so licensed that they couldn't pull it off?

Seeing as there isn't a Janosz Poha minimate yet, or potentially figures for Wexler and/or Hardemeyer, there's still scope for a Statue of Liberty minimate.

The Statue of Liberty would be fun, but I didn't know if there would be a licensing issue since it's not a “Ghostbusters” figure, per se. Does the Statue of Liberty need to be licensed for use, or is it fair game?

Oh, the correct spelling is “Wexler” (watched the movie a few days ago). I saw the three spellings as well.

This last release run shortened the gap between the amount of GB vs. GB2 figures released, finally.

I wonder if they'd make a normal non-possessed Dana figure with baby Oscar accessory?

Neither was Captain Edward J. Smith of the Titanic… didn't stop them making a figure of him though, and he never even appeared in the movie.

The Statue would presumably fall under fair use, I imagine that's how all that shoddy and non-shoddy merchandise of her is made.

Now that you mention it, it did surprise me that they made a ghost of an actual person.

I wonder what any surviving family members would think of that, if they'd even care at all?
