Ghostbusters Minimates

It wouldn't surprise me if they've got plans for a RGB run in the not too distant future, given how much they've already adapted from the movies, I'm sure they could create at least a few more series based solely on the cartoons.

Imagine: Minimate ghost clones of the Ghostbusters.

Nice to see more Ghostbusters II Minimates, I hope that a Slime Blower Winston is the works for the future. I hope that I don't go broke after purchasing these minimates and the 6 inch Peter Venkman action figure.

Anyone get a back-order e-mail for the new wave of Mini-Mates figures?

They've done this to me before, and never delivered the previous set. What's the point of ordering from their website if they can't keep their orders, and don't have enough stock on-hand?

I need to call their customer service. I'm not going through this hassle again.

Its a pre-order… they're not in stock yet, thus the back order notice. Its all just a system related thing. If they were in stock, they'd start shipping immediately, but since they're not in stock yet (and don't come out until July), the system generates a back order notice.

Which site did you get your notice from?
This morning I got an email from Amazon about another delay on the next box set (the one with Peck and Janine, etc…) which I had pre-ordered. They didn't give a new estimated date at all. Wonder if it is now being pushed back to July to match the release of the next TRU figures. Too bad….

Toys R Us… as far as I know, that's the only site taking pre-orders on the Toys R Us Exclusives, lol.

Just a blank reading, I wasn't sure if GuyCC was talking about the TRU figures or the next box set - especially because I had just gotten the email about the box set this morning. Thought maybe I wasn't the only one in that boat.

I called TRU customer service, and they said two of the sets will be released when they are available. The other two had higher demand than expected, and will be released once they can meet orders, so I guess two sets on the July date, and the other two… whenever.

But that was my problem last time. They gave me two sets, and never mentioned the others again, same wording and everything. I went to a TRU a few days later, and just bought the remaining ones, hence my wondering what's the point of pre-ordering these things months in advance if they can't get enough to ever fill online orders, leaving you to store hunt? Worse comes to worse, I'll do eBay.

I got the Janine/Peck/etc sets from Entertainment Earth, myself.
