Series 2 2-packs are showing up in TrUs now!

Absolutely awesome. I know I've said this before, but the only way these could be any more kick-ass is if they were made to glow in the dark.

If they were transparent AND glow in the dark I'd tip my hat at this being the best set of them all

Picked up Series 2 from TRU over lunch. AA has done such a great job on these. I can't wait for Series 2 and especially Series 3 box sets to come out.

any surprises with sandman or Louis or “Evil Slimer”

I didn't have too much time to check them over yet. I plan to open a set tonight and will let you know if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I know its probably too early to know, any information if Art Asylum/Diamond Select will have a Series 4 for The Real Ghostbusters minimates? I know New York Comic Con is coming up in the middle of October. Perhaps an announcement will be made.

Jay - no surprises within the package of Sandman and “Evil Slimer” (He'll always be “Big Green” to me.) What I do like is that they gave Sandman his blow gun in one hand and it looks cool. Because of that, they packed in an extra “regular hand” for him so you can swap them out - but personally, I don't ever see myself doing that. Also, they actually printed the details on the back of “Evil Slimer.” It's sculped smooth, but the printing reminds me of near the end of the episode where we actually see Slimer make the change (with the camera view behind him) and his back just plumps out with all the new ridges and bumps. It was a nice touch. He doesn't have any accessories though.

No real surprises with Louis/Stay Puft either - other than apparently they've decided to change out the Stay Pufts. All the original promo material for this series said that the box set would have angry puft and the TRU sets would have happy puft. Well, angry puft is in the TRU set, so I guess we'll have to wait and see what they pack in the box set. Louis comes with the regular stuff - closed trap on his pack, open trap, and blast stream. (I do really appreciate that with these, they took the time to paint the under-torso of the figures, so you can take off the pack, and they're still in uniform. - They even did this for Louis.)
