In the meantime, I'm still really disappointed I haven't received my refund. I'm hoping Paypal, Bank of America, and of course my federal branch of law enforcement find something out. Thankfully all that info from Elton was real.

My lawyer actually suggested I contact the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, so I did. I have a meeting with someone from the ILEA, and had a quick chat with a representative about the situation. He says he hopes the guy just sends the money back, or he's going to be royally screwed. This many agencies working on it, he said, is a major inconvenience for everyone, so they'll be looking to stick it to him.

I told him if all three of us (this was before we heard your story) were refunded, I'd drop the charges. He hopes that's what happens before our meeting on Friday.

If you can give me the number of the collection agency that you work for, one that can be verified against a public listing, and also your name, I'll give you a call and share information.

yep im from the uk i live about 3 hours away from the guy, the address i had fell through but the contact i had said they would provide it to the police however. the police are coming tommorrow. would you mind sending me the address you have by pm?

im actually a debt collector so i don't mind adding this guy on to my books, if this dosent pan out.

Claims now my Proton Pack has been sent Via Parcel Monkey yesterday night he said it didnt have a tracking number as it was too expensive!

Turns out after contacting that this company give a tracking Number automatically on every order.

I sent the following response

Matthew I have contacted parcel monkey, apparently they track items as standard so this should not be a problem and will be on your receipt. they also pointed me in the direction of the FAQ which States:
Your shipment will be issued with a unique tracking or ‘waybill’ number. This is issued to you upon order completion. So long as you print out your waybill document and attach it to your shipment your driver will be able to scan it in and start the tracking process. You will be SMS alerted on delivery (if you enter your mobile number) and you can track it at any time via the Parcel Monkey home page.
I expect this tracking number or copy of this before 6pm tonight. I trust as you have already sent this it will not be a problem to provide within this time.

Since you are no longer to receive Private Messages anymore (for some reason), I'll post this here:

It's so weird how he won't pay us back, even when he knows how screwed he is. He can't move before the end of the week. We definitely have his full name and address, so people will be going to get him in the next couple of days. And we have suggested that all he needs to do is refund all our money, and we'll drop the charges.

Why do you think he won't pay us back, even when it's obvious that he's going to be punished? Why do you think he wants to wait for the police? Do you think he has a plan?

I got a call from my agent at the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs tells me that they have enough information to send a few English police agents if I still want to pursue this. Since he hasn't paid me, and we know he can read these, I said go right ahead.

Let's see how this turns out.
