well the police have been round, very nice lady ive passed on everybodys details and the address for the forum so someone may join to contact you.

unfortunately its not actually been classed as a crime yet as hes still in contact despite the incredible amount of evidence to the contrary. They wont contact him with out his address unfortunately for me and have got to contact the other websites which can take up 28 days.

on the other front hes responded to my earlier email, which caught him out about the tracking number to which he gave the following response


'Hi, i am in process of waiting for an email from parcel monkey as they did not issue with me with a tracking nu,ber just a email reciept adn as i used just my email they will inform me via email that parcel is delevered, as soon as i recieve the tracking number which they should give me as you and they say i will inform you of it, i cant give it you if i dont have it, thats why i said i have no tracking number as they did not give me one.
I have emailed them all my details i used to print packing slip off, along with the receipt and i am now awaiting a return email, as soon as i have received i will inform you.

I left it at that as i know by tomorrow this parcel monkey company will be in touch as they seem quite efficient. i had a response to my query within 10 minutes and they don’t have a contact number to speak to an advisor

Well I've just printed off 15 pages of evidence to submit tomorrow that include names, amounts, dates, bank details, home address details, phone number details, business details, other listings, emails, private messages, cross-referencing everything on paper… and a partridge in a pear tree.

I'm going to advise one last thing before this becomes a tedious and drawn out process for everyone involved: Send a last request for a refund through PayPal to the email address the money was paid to, along with a simple instruction that, unless refunds are issued, police involvement will commence on Friday. I've just sent mine.

If it happens, it'll save us all a lot of time and effort.

It seems obvious you havent sent it as you have been unable to even provide a receipt? Parcel monkey being completely based online gives you access to all your deliveries sot it is clear you are just stalling.

Yes, i have recieved a message from parcel monkey and i rang them, as i am very pissed off with them and told them that on the phone!!

They still have the parcel sat in a depot at Manchester!!!

They explained to me on the phone that they are having difficulties finding the post code, as this is what they work off mostly, so i asked what can i do, they helped me in no way whatsoever so they are refunding my money and sending me the parcel back so i will refund you if thats what you want, i dont appreciate being accused of STALLING as you put it so i will go into my bank on monday and make a full refund to your account, i cannot do it before as no banks are open on saturday down here so it will be monday and i am away on a caravan show in the morning, hope this is all ok and enough for you.

I don't know about the specifics of where he lives, but prior to 2:00 in the afternoon, my local bank is open on a Saturday.

Sounds like more excuses, like not being given a tracking number, and Parcel Monkey having trouble with the post code.

Besides, even if his branch is closed, surely he'll have an online banking option available?

They took my piles of paper and examined them and said they'd get back to me, which they now have done. What they're advising me to do now is contact Trading Standards to advise them to contact their department that deal with that area, and possibly pursue a small claims court case as well.

Since we've entered into a civil contract, the police can't deal with it directly, but the Trading Standards people certainly can… since he's also admitted via email that the item has NOT been sent, that leaves him with liability to issue a refund, which has so far failed to materialise. Since we have details of a business, multiple names, phone numbers, addresses and so on, and since there have been multiple victims (with more being likely) they will probably be able to access the bank account on the details I was given to have a closer look at what's going in and out, to ascertain if anything untoward is going on that may merit not only consequences in this instance, but also others that may exist.

I'll be sending an email with lots of attachments in a few hours, and hopefully speak to them on the phone on Monday. The small court claim may also happen depending on the outcome of the conversation with TS.
