The PS3 version was more messed up, so don't feel too badly… You've been playing the game the way it was meant to be played with decent graphics… PS3 owners have been playing like there was mud on the screen for 2 months…
I just finished playing it (after downloading the patch), and it doesn't really seem that different. The only two things I noticed were, the lip-syncing was better, and the haunted pants were actually able to fallow me all the way into the sub-basement (which has never happened before, as they usually stop at the first door), but other than that? It's not really all that different than it was before.

The librarian's, a.k.a. Eleanor Twitty's, picture still needs to be fixed.

Heh, yeah I saw on the patch list that there were a few things that definitely were not wrong with the 360 version, but still, I'm dying to get the last two achievements. I was determined to get all the achievements in the Ghostbusters game as soon as I found out it was coming to the 360.

In single player mode, the GB2 patch is still covered up by the GB1 patch.

The biggest thing that they patched was the rendering system or whatever. Before, 360 players were getting alot sharper and brighter picture… Apparently they increased the amount of pixels by 25% in this new patch… Honestly, I can notice the difference and it looks way better than it did before. Before, you didn't really notice the small details on the pack and even the uniform/GB patch on the shoulder was really blurry. Now it's crisp and clean.

They did sharpen up the graphics a bit,and it's an improvement, but they used much lower quality textures to begin with.I own both, and It's still not up to par graphically with the 360 version. The framerate's still kinda choppy, but they did fix a lot of freezing.A good example is in the library basement right after the lights turn off and the bookshelves start flying at you.I've had it freeze for up to 5 seconds before, but it's fine now.I really don't understand why the ps3 version had so many flaws.Didn't they develop the game on ps3 hardware to begin with and then port down to everything else?

Maybe I missed something. I downloaded the patch, but afterward, my game seems to slow down MORE in certain areas and the areas that slowed down before, like walking through portals in the Spirit World Library, STILL slows down. The lip syncing is not fixed at all and I don't see any difference in the graphics. AND, on top of all that, my saved videos just got erased AGAIN (second time since I bought the game)!! Arrgh! Has the lost videos happened to anyone else? Was I NOT supposed to d-load that patch!?

I know every time I've started a new game, the unlocked videos reset to the original locked state. I haven't tried playing a new game since the patch, but from what I've experienced and what others have said, it's been like that from the start.

Are you starting a new file or replaying missions?
