Last night's episode of Supernatural was called “Ghostfacers”. Not only was that a reference to GB but two main guest characters, who hosted the paranormal reality show “Ghostfacers”(ripping off Ghost Hunters of SCIFI Channel), were named after two of the GB, ala Ed Zeddmore and Harry Spangler.

“Ed Zeddmore”? That is awesome! “Big Ed” Zeddemore was the name of Winston's Dad in “The Brooklyn Triangle”. (*winston)

Ah, but can you claim a continuity triumph from it?
No, it can't. He's white and wears glasses but looks like Ed Spengler from Return of the Ghostbusters. (*_*) :-)

Okay, then, last night on “David Letterman” they had one of Dave's lackeys (forget his name) go into a tattoo parlor and interview some of the clients. Later on, he went through a large binder full of custom designs from clients past. A lot of them featured demon-heads…but one of the tattoos featured a demonic, skull-like face being sucked into a Ghost Trap. It was only when I noticed the familiar “warning-tape markings” at the bottom of the face, and then I noticed the design of the Trap's gadgetry.

Interesting, huh?

We have a program on BBC 1 called Homes Under the Hammer where two presenters view houses/plots/flats/etc that are going on the market and grade them prior to being sold and check up on their status after the sale has been completed.

In today's episode, the female presenter remarked that a house she was viewing was spooky, and suddenly Bernstein's Ghostbusters theme began to play.

She continued on saying a “couple of spooks wouldn't live here”, and then the Ghostbusters theme began to play as she added “I tried to phone the Ghostbusters, but they weren't available”.

i just came across this game review. i thought it was entertaining, and the reviewer uses a trap to destroy the game in the end. not too shabby.

Well I just saw the most hilarious set of impersionations by Frank Caliendo on Comedy Central. In one of them he shows what Keanu Reeves would be like playing Dracula and have Rick Morranis as Igor.

I actually found the skit on YouTube. The link is here and the refrence is at 6:44-7:00. Hilarious bit.

Tonight's episode of the “The Middleman” (The Ectoplasmic Panhellenic Investigation) had quite a few Ghostbusters references.

Off the top of my head:
- The main characters referring to themselves as Drs. Zeddemore and Stantz, parapsychologists.
- A gadget being called a PKE meter.
- References to Egon Spengler and Ivo Shandor physics prizes.
- One line pulled straight from the movie - “I don't remember seeing any legs, but it definitely had arms because it reached out for me.”
