plenty of references in tonights episode of It's always sunny in Philadelphia.

Ghostbusters was mentioned like 3 times, they where saying how every team needs brains, looks and the wildcard, like the a-team, and the ghostbusters, and at the end the theme plays.

DUDE! I was just coming on to post about that. That episode totally made my day.

That's one of my favorite shows, and it just got even better with those references.

EDIT: Actually, after thinking about this last night, and I had never thought of this… but hearing that theme music with those guys on screen at the end… I really think that they could potentially do something really good if they were ever in something officially Ghostbusters related. Particularly the guys who play Mac (Rob McElhenney) and Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Charlie Day would be good too, I think, if toned down from his character level as Charlie Kelly. It was so great seeing that theme playing at the end of an episode though, even if it wasn't an actual Ghostbusters TV series.

There was one episode of “Tiny Toons” where Furball dresses up like a Ghostbuster.

On tonight's season premiere of The Office (US), Michael Scott (not me, the other one) puts up pictures of fat people/characters to make a point that all are beautiful, as he's wearing a suit over his sumo costume. One of the pictures is of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man walking toward Columbus Circle. Another one was either Slimer or Joba, I couldn't tell.

Interesting that there would be a GB reference on the first episode after it was leaked that former writers for the show were working on the GB3 scripte.
