Weebl & Bob have done a “Goovie” (basically, a spoof movie for Cadbury's Creme Eggs) called Goobusters. It's not too funny but some bits made me smile.

There was somewhat of a Ghostbusters reference as I watched tonight's episode of Ghost Whisperer, titled ironically “Ghost Busted” No it didn't have any referals to characters, but the guy who was the paranormal investigator had a car similar to Ecto-1. Take a look at the pics:

Just like the hearse I tried to buy last year, but the funeral guy said they´re not selling it. : (

Back in topic:
Last night I was playing MONSTER MADNESS: BATTLE FOR SUBURBIA on my X360, and finally beat the “take the Janitor to the gym” level, inside the school, the Ghost makes it´s first appareance on the game (every foe has its own introducing scene), and at that moment, back in game, the character (I was playing with Andy) says: “I ain´t afraid of no ghosts”. I didn´t notice at first, but my wife told me “Did you listened what he said?” and I replay the level and I found it.

BTW, that´s the most difficult game I ever played, more even that TMNT for Nes.

Byrne-stealing the latest issue of Amazing Spider-Man today, I happened to notice the artist slipped in a background character with a familiar yellow hairdo and glasses. Oh, and a gray shirt with a Ghostbusters logo.

And sorry I can't provide a scan. In case anyone who doesn't know what Byrne-stealing is, it's reading the comic while still in the shop and not purchasing it after. It's named for writer/artist John Byrne who vocally condemns this practice.

Just seen CSI: NY episode 43 of the fourth season.

The fire station they went in reminded me of something familiar…

The latest episode of the webshow “Sh*tbuster” borrows the EPA subplot from GB1, and includes a “containment facility” which the governmental antagonist “shuts down” in a manner very reminescent to a scene in Ghostbusters.

The no-cockroaches logo on the exterminators' van in the Sims 2 has the same pose as the No-Ghost.

Watching a program on the History Channel today called “The States,” and while talking about Davy Crockett, one commentor remarked something along the lines of "he wasn't some fictional character like , or the Sta-Puft Marshmallow Man…"
