It's still just a refference…

if you want a Zombieland thread for discussion of the movie itself, make one in the Miscellaneous Forum please

Thanks boss.

I understand. It was the biggest “Reference” I have ever seen in a movie though!

Today on the Channel 9 Morning News (WGN) they covered NASA's launch of a missile to the moon's surface–they're trying to look for water or something. Anyway, watching the missile get to the moon via satellite feed was like watching paint dry, so the anchors started going on about how they need to be patient since it's so technical, and someone in the editing room gets the bright idea to play Bill Murray's line, "Back off man, I'm a scientist."

Ahh, the joys of being an early riser…

“Do you have any regrets?”
“…maybe Garfield…”

Heh heh heh…at least it gave us the spooky Bill Murray/Lorenzo Music coincidence.

I had read good things about Zombieland, but after hearing about the GB reference, I'm going to have to check it out for myself!

And did anyone see Saturday Night Live last night? It was a new episode, and had a funny little bit with Kenan Thompson as Ray Parker Jr. talking about the Ghostbusters theme. Hopefully they'll post it at NBC.com soon.

Family Guy Last night, 2 major refferences

Dan Aykroyd & Chevy Chase are having dinner with the Griffons

Peter: “Wow, I can't believe I'm having dinner with 2 of the 3 Ghostbusters!”
Chevy: “Uh…I wasn't in that movie.”

and later on Dan whips out a PKE Meter to find Mayor Adam West

Loved those references, and its always great to hear Dan's voice… he's so enthusiastic.

But man, Family Guy has really gone downhill. I don't really even watch it that much anymore, and episodes like last night are pretty much the reason why (outside of Aykroyd and Chase being in the episode).
