There was also a reference in “Everybody Hates Chris” His dad was talking about luck and said The Ghostbusters were'nt luck when they faced the Marshmellow man, they were prepared.

This isn't exactly a reference, but I was watching some old episodes of “So Weird” on Youtube.com, and if you follow this link….

…and go to the ‘5:50’ point in the video, you'll see an Irish banshee that bears a striking resemblence to a certain ‘Dream Ghost’ that floated above Dr. Stantz in GB1. Coincidence? Or subtle homage? You decide…..

Eh… I guess it'd be mostly accidental… there's only so many ways you can do a ‘mysterious woman in a flowing ghostly gown’. :p

Gee Kingpin, yer such a critic. I'm not saying it IS a reference, but the similarities are certainly fun to look at, so just enjoy it. :p Although I have to say, I've never seen a white translucent ghost lady with a flowing, tattered white dress float a.) horizontally, or b.) over someone while they're sleeping, in anything other than Ghostbusters. The placement and look of all the elements DOES seem uncanny. Plus the show is about a ‘ghost-hunter/paranormal researcher’ of sorts, so I definitely wouldn't be surprised if the filmmakers took a bit of ‘inspiration’ from Ghostbusters of all things. But think of it how you will. (*peter)
