Forgot to post this sooner… Penny Arcade gives us this latest offering:

(*egon)

In all seriousness, the ghostbusters logo was used on the free cd given away with PSW magazine, I believe it had footage of the new game on it. Which from the pictures, looked identical the the zootfly game.

I was on a plane yesterday reading Wired when what should I see? That's right, a nice Ghostbusters reference. Its from the April 2007 issue of Wired magazine, page 98.

Red means stop. Stop looking in your fridge for the temple of Gozer.
The quote is used to sell the Home Joule.

Not sure if the quote is on the Wired website or even at the company's site. Here is the web address if anybody wants to check it out.

She-Hulk #17 featured a certain song called “Hulkbusters” (you can guess the tune) and Zzzax was captured in a very familiar looking box device shortly after.

Just a minor reference, but one of my favorite horror genre artists, David Hartman (who did some storyboard work on XGB), made a new little short called “Ghost Town” where he plays Sheriff Ray Parker Jr. Hardly worth mentioning, but I thought some might get a kick out of it. That being said its a fairly entertaining short that calls to mind “Ghostfight at the O.K. Corall”. Check it out if you would….

That could be an interesting premise for a TV series, done seriously of course.

Apparently so, aye. It's a little known fact.

Yeah, I think his movies would be better off more serious/scary (still tongue-in-cheek though), but he made it for Channel101, a strictly comedy outfit…
