Ghostbusters Remake

I could never see a remake. You don't want to over do a good thing. GB was great, but A remake wouldn't serve it justice- no matter how cool it is. You just can't replace the Ecto-1 which is what would most likely happen in a GB Remake.

Come 2004, there will be a buttload of people at GB.net. Hopefully, Columbia will see this fan base and rerelease it. I think financially, the best time to release it is Halloween. June? Hell no. It would be in the wake of the Matrix Re-reloaded (Hey! I'm improvisin heah!) or whatever big movie is released then. Crap like Riding in Cars With Boys is released now so I doubt competition will be a problem. And it won't be a special edition either. Just Ghostbusters. No additional scenes (they weren't that great… except for the Bums one smile), no digital Slimer, just cleaned up visuals like on the DVD and improved sound from the DVD. As for a remake, you guys say keep it the same? They did the same to Psycho and it sucked. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any good movie remakes. I'd kill to see those guys in a theater for the first time (I was 2 months old when it came out… unfortunately my friend was born when it was huge… her name is Dana. Hey, coulda been worse she coulda been Egon).
