I wish there was major news I could share with you, but I've only had time to work on a few graphics (tile sets for different levels and character graphics.) I do have the game ‘roughly planned out’ so once I've completed the tile sets, I will begin mapping more levels.

I worked on it a good amount last weekend, did a lot of mapping… The first 3 ‘levels’ are about complete in their mapping. The only spoiler I'll give out is the first level takes place in a casino. I was thinking I'll get 10 levels together along with a final level and then release a finished version.
I've got all my graphics together except for a few ghosts…so this game should be finished by summer if I continue working on it.

I suppose this won't compare to the official Ghostbusters game coming in fall but I am still doing work on the RPG. I still believe I can get it out by summer time and am trying to finish the majority of work on it before I graduate. (Theres no way in hell I'll get a chance to do much work this summer)
So maybe I can finish up this month? We'll see… Progress - I've got all my levels mapped out! I've got all my graphics made! I've got my story for the game figured out and I think its pretty clever (has a nice twist at the end) All I really need to do is finish event scripting and fix all the bugs. I figure I can complete about a level every 3-4 days…

Take your time. Your game may no compare to the offical game that is coming out but it wont have some of the same stuff a true fan of the movies or cartoons can really give. Also remeber to keep enjoying making the game and not rush yourself I rather wait till after the then have you rush it out. Take your time and enjoy making the game it will make it that much better.

The way the game spirits look kind of bother me to be honest. Don't look much like the Ghostbusters, but I geuss that's how it is for that program.
