I went on to play SoS and it asked me to do an update. On the right side of the main screen now it says go to the marketplace to download a new mission and avatar items!
However when I went to try and find these “new” itmes there is nothing listed. Hopefully we'll be getting something new here soon.

Clicked download content and got the “cannot retrieve information” pop up. Think the new content may be up soon

I just wonder if they are teasing us. I can never find a full online game anymore. Maybe the game was a bust so they pulled the dlc?

The PSN is down, but yeah, the game did got A LOT of negative reviews. If they do update anything for the game, it should be something that makes the comic texts larger because at that size, you can't even enjoy who story it might have.

The DLC is available since now… it´s about two new game modes: Lone Hero and Arcade Challenger.
The Lone Hero mode is not but the single player option, no AI helping. And the Arcade Challenger mode gives you only 3 lives to play.
So… this “new game modes” will make the game harder to play… even more.
You can get this DLC for 160 MS points on XBox 360. I dunno how much it will cost for PS3 players.
No new avatar stuff has been announced yet.

YAY!!!!!! Bout time
And to everyone having such a hard time with this one, play some Geometry Wars Retro Evolved, thats how I got good at it, and the reason I have been waiting for new levels after beating the game. It's only a twin stick shooter

It's not really new levels though… It's just that they've taken out the AI players or have limited your number of lives. (I can't beat it without those two additions.) Can't say I'm really excited about this one.
