A little patience man, there's a window of 24 hours where it can still be released on “May 1st”.

The online premier has been pushed back to May 8th due to technical difficulties, the cinema premier went ahead last night.

I would like to thank all of you for your vigilance watching our boards.

We are sorry to report, however that our FanFilm will not be released on the net by May 1, seeing as it's currently May 2nd. (Anyone got an extra Delorian sitting around?) Over the last two days we have experienced a series of computer crashes and file losses. The worst of which came just hours before our premier was set to open.

I am pleased to report that the premier did happen last night due to the noble and valiant efforts of all those involved, including Mavric, Sketch, Out of time, my lovely wife and many more too numerous to name. It seemed to be really well received, and I can't wait to show this to the fans of the communities.

Unfortunately, the premier featured quick fixes to the special effects and editing to just make it viewable. With this in mind, the crew and myself have discussed it and believe it would be better to fix up the poor areas before releasing it to the public. If we had not had these glitches and errors then we would have been able to hold to our release date, and currently have plans to release it within the week.

Once again, this film will be released by Midnight on May 8. I hate the thought of pushing it off like this, but believe me when I say that it will be worth the wait.

We're not dead, but we're ready to take care of the ones that are.

It's finally here. I'm proud to present Ghostbusters SLC for any who are interested. This has been a learning project for all of us but considdering what we've had to work with I'm very well pleased with the final result. So if you're interested, pop on over and check it out.

I appreciate that you used some RGB background music (yours is the first GB fan film to do so) and that you did not repeat any classic line from the movie (IMO a classic line become stale if it's repeated).

there were a few lines from the movie i noticed actually… don't remember off-hand as I'm at work…

but it was funny and quite entertaining, keep up the great work!

I couldn't help but notice the GB logo boxers. I'm sorry but I have to ask: was that a subtle Filmation reference (cf. Jake and Eddie's FGB boxers)?

EDIT: Did the possessed books remind anyone else of the Langoliers?

Other than the AC/DC thing at the beginning, this film was worth the wait. Got a laugh and the ghost books, and the characters in the film. Found all three ghostbusters living up to standards and in some ways going beyond. The interview or whatever that was , lacked explaining. Overall a success tho.
