We have ideas for several future episodes focusing on our team as well as guest stars from other franchises. Currently, we are in preproduction for our second episode which is being written and directed by Jon Rudy, the actor that portrays Sketch. Each of us is currently in school, so money is the main thing holding us back. Depending on the contributions we receive we could release anywhere from one episode a year to three. Our goal is to make each one roughly 30 minutes to coincide with the episodic feel.
Some of the reasons for the 30 minute timetable is 1. because it's an attainable goal, 2. to maintain our audiences' attention, and 3. to mimic a sitcom/Real Ghostbusters episode feeling. My favorite fanfilm to this day is still “Freddy vs. Ghostbusters”. I believe that one of it's reasons for success was its length. It is short enough to capture your attention but long enough to tell a vibrant story. “Kevin gets a proton pack” is another example of short, simple, amazing! I could go on with PeteVenkman73's 28 second Fanfilm, or DarkSpector's Bloodlines, as well as many others including the spectacular Ghostbusin' 911, but I digress.
Extra thanks goes out to Ou7of7ime, my fellow producer and after effects guru! This is the man behind the scenes who was always the first person to give 200% of all that was required and keep me on track. Without Nephi, this film never would have seen the light of day.
Mavric. Owner of the Ecto UT and old time friend. His inspiration and love of Ghostbusters helped this production change from a 6 minute class project into what it is today. If you meet him, you'll know it by the Pete Venkman attitude.
Sketch. A man always willing to do what is necessary to complete a project. From the first time we met, we've been best buds and I feel that we have a lot to look forward to in this next episode with him at the helm.
