That's around $64, which seems a lot for a book priced originally at $6.99.

Yeah I thought that myself when I was looking at how much it was worth when I bought it. If you look on Amazon and sometimes eBay it's over a $100 nearly every time.

Not really. The book's initial cost has nothing to do with what it is worth today. It regularly sells for over $100. It only went through one printing, and is very hard to find now a days. $64 is a good amount of money, sure… but its not extravagant considering the worth of the book.
