Ghostbusters Viewing Party Friday, May 13th!

I had this email today from Sony Pictures.

This just sounds completely pointless to me.

So we can all follow a Twitter feed of everyone typing in their favorite quotes as they happen or “LOL”?

It's one thing to get together with a bunch of people to watch the movie, but this just seems silly.

I think due to the time difference between the USA and the UK I will be fast asleep in bed due to being at work on Saturday morning.

I also hope that if it is a great success that Sony start to develop the Ghostbusters franchise more, who know's maybe they are seeing what the demand is out there.

I suppose I agree with the notion of being dull and pointless…but maybe this is Sony Pictures' way of showing that Ghostbusters is alive and well..hopefully Matty is also paying attention.

i actually think its a cool idea i could hold a GB party, but i dont have a twitter

+1 who doesn't have a twitter account and doesn't follow it. And this isn't going to make me jump in that boat. Also, I'm not saying I have a better idea for when something like this should be planned but… the middle of a Friday evening? (I guess I kind of get Friday the 13th…) I would think that whether someone is getting off work or school or whatever, there are plently of other things they would rather be doing with their Friday evening than twitter with a bunch of strangers while watching Ghostbusters.
